The Reception

The reception will be held at The Broadlands Golf Club in North Prairie, WI. Way back when, Kris took some pictures with my camera when she was there with her mom. The thumbnails are below. Click on each one to view a larger version.

Hors d'oeuvres will be served at five o'clock in the evening. Dinner will be served at 6:30. Dinner will be 4-ounce selections each of chicken and tenderloin, in respective sauces, accompanied by sides of roasted red-skinned potatoes and a Caribbean blend of vegetables. Vegetarians will enjoy mushroom ravioli accompanied with a vegetable stir fry on a bed of rice. Children will enjoy chicken strips and french fries. Beer, wine and soda will be served throughout the evening.

Cake is being prepared by the Golden Gourmet. It will consist of pale ivory rolled fondant icing pleated around four round layers. On each layer will rest fresh flowers, with fondant ribbons billowing from each flower's base. The frosting will cover four layers of lemon chiffon cake, separated by two layers of Grand Mariner flavoring, and one layer of Raspberry filling.

At 8 o'clock in the evening, the music will be spun by Rhythm's DJ's, who are planning an entertaining evening of dancing and merriment. Hot hors d'oeuvres will be served at approximately 9 o'clock. The party will end at twelve midnight.
